With the impending Victorian Aeropress Championships (March 7) and the above mentioned Lowdown Aeropress education session it’s time for Black Coffee to hone it’s chops on the everyman apparatus and get back to it’s northern roots. That’s right, this Saturday we’ll be featuring exclusively Aeropress brews. And in case that wasn’t exciting enough, we’ll be revising our repertoire with a myriad of maverick new methods. 

Lowlands will be operating as normal out front with their full brunch menu and espresso machine switched on so you can finally invite all your friends and family who’s jaws drop whenever they’re confronted with anything other than a soy cappuccino or a hot skinny latte. 

Then on Sunday night: Lowdown. The first in a series of coffee education evenings hosted by Lowlands. Edition #1 will unveil the findings of Saturday’s Aeropress experiments and detail a number of methods for getting the most out of your own. 

Both events are open to the public with a gold coin donation being collected at Lowdown for the Coffee Kids organisation.
